"Answers when called" = the bot replies when someone writes your name, your @username, or replies to you — and then follows that conversation for about 12 minutes. "Also joins in" = it may also write without being called, when it judges that it has something to say. "Answer now" replies to the latest message there.
The list appears a minute after the userbot starts.
People
Everyone the bot keeps a folder on: how close it thinks you are (that sets the tone — change it if it is wrong and it stays as you set it), what they told it about themselves, and what it means to ask them about later.

How the account comes across today — it changes how much it talks, jokes and how fast it answers. Auto = a mood picked at random for each day. A mood you pick holds until midnight.
